Simon Armitage in Conversation with Stuart Maconie

Join Birmingham Literature Festival and Town Hall Symphony Hall for a special evening of poetry and conversation, with the new UK Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage, one of our best-loved poets and a Birmingham Literature Festival favourite. Simon will be chatting to BBC broadcaster, writer and 2019 Birmingham Literature Festival Guest Curator Stuart Maconie.

Simon will be performing a small number of his poems as well as taking questions from Stuart and the audience, and our evening will commence with poetry readings the two Birmingham Poets Laureate from Richard O’Brien (Birmingham Poet Laureate) and Aliyah Begum (Birmingham Young Poet Laureate)
