Malfunction are John McGowan and Chris Laverty, who have been playing together for some 42 years, experiencing the heyday of folk music in the 70s and 80s when they ran the Prince’s Corner folk club in Harborne until it closed in the 1990s, when they were both busy teachers. In 2017 they decided to give performing another go and their entertaining music on guitar and mandolin, singing with panache and style accompanied by jocular patter will delight audiences again today.
