Join us for another afternoon of socialising & sharing ideas with other fans of comics in your friendly neighbourhood addition of LDComics (All Welcome!)

And I guarantee you’ll learn a lot from our guest speakers and will leave feeling fantastic & inspired.

So it’s definitely worth dropping by this local meet up on Tuesday, 7.30pm at Quantum Exhib : )

What happens at these meet ups:

We'll introduce ourselves, new and familiar, Followed by our first 2 Guest Speakers presenting their work, Then a break for meeting each other, Followed by our last presentation :)

There will be drinks & snacks available,

Feel free to bring your work with you for showing and telling!


Your Inspirational Guest Speakers

Rees Finley Self published comic creator and trading card artist living with a disability. following the sucess of my autobiography ‘the blue flame’ i went on to do art for such franchises as Star Wars, The Walking Dead and netflix’s Stranger Things. Currently working on ‘The High Priestess’ a remake and conclusion of a series started in 2015, but a car accident meant it fell to the wayside and sadly never got wrapped up.

Alex McCarthy Birmingham based illustrator and animator. Studied at Birmingham City University where she received both a BA (Hons) and MA degree in Visual Communication (illustration). When she’s not attending comic conventions she is focusing on her freelance work and managing her online Etsy shop.

Quantum Exhibition Centre is Wheelchair Friendly :)

20 minute walk from New St Station

To get to the venue from the city centre, walk towards and past Moor St Station and Digbeth Coach Station and carry on past Zellig until you get to the Tesla Car place, then turn left down that street.

1 minute walk and QEC is the white building on your right, on Upper Trinity St.
