It's a little bit different this year. Wassail's are all about wishing good health to the apple trees. This year, we think about our own good health as well as the trees', as part of The Pomology Project which was carried out by General Public over the past year.

2:30 - 3:30 we start with craft at Kings Heath Library making all the paraphernalia we need to rouse the apple trees later on.

3:30 - 4:30 we'll parade through the park to the Orchard. There we'll bless the trees and share winter cheer in the form of hot drinks and cakes. There'll be costumes, masks, music and song.

This event will suit all ages who enjoy a bit of revelry. We're pulling out all the stops for an abundant year of blessings both for people and trees.

There are lots more details here, including the opportunity to carry a fire torch for over 18s.
