Discovering Birmingham: Sunday Walking Fun in Brum!

Discovering Birmingham; A Walk and More A friendly Sunday afternoon walking tour experience in this amazing city! Understand how Birmingham developed and is moving into the future: • Earlier times – medieval origins • From Georgian entrepreneurs to Victorian idealists • Understand the Jewellery Quarter • Atmospheric canals • An artistic side • Developing for the future. This walk starts and ends at the Library of Birmingham in Centenary Square. Content is loosely based on the guide book Discovering Birmingham. A copy of the guide book is included in the ticket price (book normally £5 in Library foyer shop). Tours may use an audio system and if so you can bring your own earphones or purchase a new pair for £1 at the start which you keep at the end.

The Discovering Birmingham walking tour guide on Sundays is currently Birmingham photographer and author Jonathan Berg.

This 1 3/4 hour walking tour gives a great introduction to the city and is of interest equally to local people and visitors. Book on the Positively Birmingahm website. Adults £10.60 Children (6-16 years) £5.00.

We support Sifa Fireside who work on acute and longer term homeless issues in Birmingham with at least 10% of all sales going to their work. Donations are clearly stated on our website.
