The popular tales of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Bean Stalk are interwoven with that of the Baker and his Wife and their quest to have a child. However this re-telling goes beyond 'happily ever after' as the familiar characters find themselves in unfamiliar circumstances and hopes and dreams are questioned and revisited.

A Pop Opera Musical, 4 Aug 2012

4 Aug 2012 - Theatre at Crescent Theatre

BARE: A Pop Opera is a rock musical about a group of Catholic High School Seniors facing issues of sexuality and personal identity.

The play tells the emotional story of how these teenagers discover who they are and who the world thinks they should be – seeking answers from the Church, their friends and, ultimately, from within themselves.

A beautiful, yet tragic story of young love and personal enlightenment.

Roads will be closed, a sunset live PA will be announced, marquees will be erected and over thirty DJ’s will be playing.

Last year’s sell out Cream Ibiza Classics Street Carnival was one of the best events at the unstoppable, underground Rainbow Complex. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and more extraordinary - more capacity, more music, more brands and still the same unbeatable environment.

Plus Brothel in Room 2

However, without a shadow of a doubt the incomparable and unrivalled God-given voice of Whitney Elizabeth Houston has been Nya’s biggest influence and inspiration from childhood.

Nya has been privileged to perform live shows with Heatwave and Precious Wilson, recorded backing vocals for Odyssey, and is a regular artist at Butlins, Warner Resort Hotels, G-Casinos and Park Resorts, to name a few.

There’s always been a sprinkling of Whitney songs throughout Nya’s shows, which have always been well received. Now in homage to the great diva, Nya has put together a show of just Whitney hits, including I Wanna Dance With Somebody, I Will Always Love You, Greatest Love Of All and many more.

She decided to work in stand up comedy thanks to a deep fear of ending up in crap fringe theatre, where actors spend their time in rehearsals running around and exploring their inner child with the use of a silk scarf and a tambourine. Mandy is the former Time Out Comedy Award winner and has headlined all over the world including Dubai, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, South Africa and Rickmansworth and was the first female comedian to compere that bastion of old-school stand-up The Comedy Store.

Party Night with Celtic Clan, 4 Aug 2012

4 Aug 2012 - Folk at Willcare Sports & Social Club

Celtic Clan plays non-stop party and dance music for everyone.

A great band that mixes Irish, Celtic and trad music, alongside mainstream covers – especially great if you’ve got a mixed Irish/non-Irish audience. You’ll hear classics like Black Velvet Band and Tell Me Ma alongside The Pogues (Dirty Old Town), Dexys (Come on Eileen) and The Proclaimers (500 Miles), then Amy Winehouse (Valerie), The Mammas & Pappas (California Dreaming), The Monkees (Daydream Believer) and Jessie J (Price Tag)…….

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, throw in some Irish singalong a few ceili dances and a jig to whip the crowd into a frenzy! Celtic Clan really will make the party memorable, for all the right reasons!
